Looking to the Future
The Foundation supports education and discussion of contemporary methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the anus, colon and rectum, and to encourage scientific study of such issues.

Travel Grants & Awards
The Foundation supports the encouragement and education of students and surgical residents interested in the practice of colon and rectal surgery, by means of travel grants and awards for academic excellence in the study and presentation of patient problems.

Medical Ethics
The Foundation supports medical ethics sessions at the Annual Meeting to teach emerging surgeons on the importance of compassion and care. These sessions are often hands-on, interactive, and thought-provoking exercises to better understand ethics.
